Introducing Kip Occasional Chair for Lighthouse

Mar 25, 2024

The Kip Occasional Chair is supporting Lighthouse Foundation’s vision to end youth homelessness. 5% of proceeds from the Kip Chair will be donated directly to Lighthouse Foundation, supporting their vision to end Youth Homelessness.

We are delighted to introduce the Kip Occasional Chair, meticulously designed by our Melbourne-based design and product teams in support of the transformative work undertaken by Lighthouse Foundation.

The name 'Kip' was thoughtfully chosen by a young person residing in a Lighthouse Foundation therapeutic home. This clever play on words was inspired by the chair's enveloping silhouette and plush cushioning, creating a welcoming space for a quick nap or a relaxing "kip."

The Kip Occasional Chair is available in White Bark or Leek Green Upholstery, beautifully paired with a Natural Ash frame. Striking a perfect balance between comfort and contemporary style, the chair features a high supportive back and a comfortable seat filled with high-density foam, inviting hours of comfortable sitting. Its thoughtful design ensures that it not only adds visual appeal but also serves as a functional addition to any living or bedroom setting.

The Kip Occasional Chair is one of GlobeWest's initiatives to support Lighthouse Foundation, including financial commitment, along with people power and product donations. This collaboration is founded on shared values, stemming from both organisations' belief in the importance of foster care and family support, transforming houses into therapeutic homes and fostering connections within communities.
