Meet Sophie, Owner, Creative Director and Principal Designer here at Lennon House. Mum to an amazing boy, Lennon - the inspiration behind the name 'Lennon House’.
Sophie is a qualified interior designer holding a Bachelor Degree of Arts (Interior Design). Sophie is a highly organised, creative visionary with twelve years of industry experience. Her exceptional communication and time management skills, self motivation, warm, bubbly and passionate personality is what will gravitate you upon meeting with her. Sophie has a demonstrated history of working in Residential design, Creative Concept Design, Revit, 3D Visualisation, and residential Interior Fit-outs. She has a keen interest in Biophilic and Commercial Design also.
Lennon House was founded in 2018. Being a full time Mum for the year prior and Maternity leave coming to an end, Sophie wasn’t ready to be at work away from her baby - a dilemma so many of us Mums face. Her creativity was surging and the desire to create beautiful spaces never wavered. Lennon House was born through word of mouth - clients requesting Sophie’s expertise through prior clients she had worked with in the past. Instagram was the platform used to showcase her work and skills, with brands regularly requesting to work with her for product styling and followers fast becoming clients.
Fast forward to now, Lennon House is a Geelong based Full Service Interior Design Studio working with builders, architects and a myriad of clients. We take pride in employing graduate designers to work on large projects behind the scenes to ensure nothing is left unturned and everything is delivered to the highest standard.
Sophie is proud to have built Lennon House from the ground up, which began so that she could work around her little boy. This is a major priority for Sophie still, enjoying the flexibility to work in the field that she loves, and be a present Mum to her growing up boy.
In the rare downtime that Sophie gets, she enjoys spending her time with her boy and their two gorgeous pups, Frankie and Estella. She loves a good dose of laughter with friends and playing around with her extensive collection of plants.
