In past commercial projects, what specific aspects when working with GlobeWest stood out to you as particularly memorable?
I actually can’t think of even one scenario when I have been disappointed with GlobeWest, and over a 10-year period that says a lot. I have never had to chase them up, experience delays on an order or delivery, or work with someone that was anything but lovely and efficient.
I remember a particular occasion where we made some selections for an office fit-out that once it had arrived, it just didn’t suit the space – totally our own fault. Thankfully, Mimi, who was handling our account at the time, was working through the design fair at the Arts Centre and allowed me to dash down there, sit with her and re-select and reorder furniture for the space. Those fairs are incredibly busy and the fact that she calmly and kindly took the time to do that for me truly reflects the lengths GlobeWest goes to provide exceptional customer service.
How would you describe your relationship with GlobeWest over the years?
We developed a relationship with GlobeWest around 10 years ago and it’s still one of our strongest working relationships to date. GlobeWest has been dependable, loyal, and extremely easy to work with, providing us with the best quality products and the most amazing service.
Over the last few years we have introduced upholstery customisation, how did this impact your most recent Beyond Apartments project?
The upholstery customisation was crucial to the look of Beyond Apartments and allowed us to achieve the aesthetic we were going for. It allowed us to not have to compromise and we could include more unique products that complimented the building and overall style. GlobeWest offered us such a wide array of options that we were able to source every piece of furniture for the project from them.
