Defined by a refined palette of pale masonry, warm timber and sculptural forms, this Hawthorn East residence balances strong architectural gestures with a sense of softness and ease. The monolithic light-toned facade creates a striking first impression, complemented by a custom timber pivot door that forms a sculptural statement at the entry.

Inside, expansive glazing and an internal courtyard draw natural light into the home, creating layered views and a strong connection between the spaces. A sculptural ribbon staircase curves through the double-height living area, wrapped in vertical timber battens that introduce warmth and texture. Nearby, a suspended curved fireplace sits above a stone plinth, becoming a central architectural feature within the space.

A gallery-style bridge walkway, framed by clerestory glazing, creates further depth and layered sightlines throughout the home. In the kitchen, a rich jade-green stone island provides a striking focal point against the soft neutral palette, while an integrated breakfast nook creates a more intimate moment within the expansive open-plan setting.

We selected this Hawthorn East home for its soft, light-filled interiors and considered architectural details, creating an elevated backdrop for our Collections 2027. The gentle palette, warm oak tones, subtle pastel undertones and open spatial flow complement the way we envisioned each space being styled.

Its balance of openness, warmth and sculptural form allows our furniture to sit naturally within the architecture, while offering versatility across our Contemporary, Retreat and Eclectic design themes.
