Globe West Furniture featured on Masterchef Australia

Globe West are pleased to be working with Fremantle Media and their newest Australian production for the Ten Network, MasterChef Australia.

MasterChef Australia gives budding chefs the ultimate once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to develop their skills, to be mentored by the best and ultimately become the MasterChef.

The set designers for the show identified the Globe West style as the look that they wanted for the reality program & various pieces from the Box Furniture and Globe West collections were specified to be used in the restaurant area on set as well as the house where the contestants are living in for the duration of the show. The show launched on Mon April 27 on channel 10.

Products featured include the Marga Sofa, Pavilion Coffee & side table, Cosmo Sofa and Monaco Bar stool

Globe West is excited to announce that they are now the exclusive distributors of the acclaimed Box Furniture Range in Australia.

New Collections Globe West launches new and innovative collections throughout the year. In 2010 Globe West customers will have the opportunity to view the following new collections.
	Mystique A collection combining elements of days gone by, yet with a modern contemporary feel. Recycled railway sleepers framed in polished stainless steel, set back with hand-crafted seating featuring woven patchworked fabrics and leathers. Olde worlde embellishments and modern materials come together in a mystical, magical charm.
	Axiom Exploding onto the Globe West stage this year is this very slick collection featuring high gloss 2-pack PU in a Mushroom colour, sitting over Black Oak veneer framework. Axiom has a distinctly Penthouse look, with sleek lines and stylish fittings, whilst maintaining a warm welcoming feel.
	The Fusion As it's name suggests, the fusion of timber veneer or high gloss 2-pack PU cabinetry with highly polished stainless steel framework has produced a very exciting result. Each and every piece in this collection makes a statement. Use one piece as a feature with other Globe West collections, and the look will be stunning every time.
	Havana Solid Teak in a natural finish sits casually over a black powder coated metal framework. It's warm nights by the fire, or balmy nights at the beach house - masculine and exotic and very, very striking.
	Marakesh As it's name suggests, it's rustic and bold allowing you to create magnificence and mayhem with almost indiscernible boundaries. Will it be the feature or the backdrop? The choice is yours.
	Rumba Get ready to RUMBA !!! It's energy and elegance; just how the dance goes! The weaving, twisting and melding of fabulous forms created from bamboo, wicker and rattan makes other occasional furnishings look like 'Dancing with the Blahs'.
	San Remo Perhaps it's where we want to be, but we just can't get there right now so let's bring it home! San Remo collection features solid Teak with a highly defined grain, and soft woven rattan which makes you feel as relaxed as driftwood with it's 'beachy' appeal. The feature lighting pieces are stunning, by day or by night. It's Welcome to Paradise, and it's Welcome Home!
Artistic Collections This year Globe West has the enormous pleasure of including artworks and unique creations by esteemed Filipino artists under the collections of Paparazzi, Vito and Gilded Expressions:
	"Paparazzi" by Tes Pasola Artist Tes Pasola has created some amazing wall and decorative feature pieces using recycled paper and sheer imagination. We are sure you'll agree, Tes has a unique gift for taking the quaint and quirky to produce the stylish and striking.
	"Vito" by Vito Selma Wow! Artist Vito Selma has created incredible sculpture-style furnishings and decorative lighting from laminated timbers and intricate timber beadwork. In fact, we challenge your visitors to not say "Wow" when they enter the fabulous space you have created.
	"Gilded Expressions" by Ann Pamintuan Using combinations of wire, steel and lacquer, artist Ann Pamintuan has afforded us the opportunity to offer her Cocoon series of feature sofas. It can be specially coated for outdoors, or make a light yet bold statement in your indoor living space.
	Gibraltar introduces the new “Mule” colour – not quite brown, not quite charcoal, but works well with both! It’s simple styling with veneer and matt black powder-coated metal framework makes it a must use collection for any project. Due to strong demand, this colleciton is now offered in Natural Ash Veneer.
	Juno sofas and occasional chairs combine textured fabrics and clean lines with a choice of timber or metal legs. They’re comfortable and inviting, whilst maintaining a stylish and sleek appearance for the living room.
	Tango has some wonderful new additions in casual seating, and occasional pieces. Natural rattans combined in colours bright and funky, or sublime and natural for the perfect mood creation combination!
	Samba‘s woven Amakan and Tingalak fabrics adorn a Sofa, Chair and Ottoman.
	Teca solid teak root decorative stools and Mirage Black Oxidised Copper and Aluminium side tables have proven a hit in the ‘just for something a bit different’ stakes.
And, moving outdoors:
	Boracay Wake up and smell the coffee! You'd swear you'd woken up in an exotic beach resort with this collection of occasional furniture. The finely woven rattan is suitable for indoor or outdoor use - brekkie or cocktail hour, you'll feel in paradise, either way!
	Corfu What's new in Corfu? Well a brand new colour and weave for starters! A light stone colour in a fine, closed weave cross-matches with Azzuro (more about that later!) and Sorrento Piazza . Casual feature furniture will finish off your outdoor area beautifully!
	Santorini Responding to the call for more casual and modular outdoor furniture, we’ve extended Santorini synthetic rattan collection, completing the already popular Ibiza and Corfu outdoor collections by cross-merchandising colour ways in Cocoa and Palm.
	Azzuro Ever seen a waterproof sofa? You really do have to see this to believe it - Quick dry foam with Sunbrella fabric has created a completely indoor-looking lounge suite for full outdoor use! Complete with removable slip covers, it’s the ultimate for ease and elegance. We’ve added some shapely occasional pieces in synthetic rattan also to complete the Globe West outdoor story.
